Overview

Repstra is an AI-native coaching platform and app for athletes and the coaches who guide them. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Repstra app or website you agree to this policy. We don't sell your personal data — ever.

Information we collect

Account information you provide (name, email, and — if you sign in with Apple or Google — the basic profile they return). Training and wellbeing data you log: workouts, nutrition and meals, daily check-ins (mood, energy, sleep, soreness), body metrics and goals. Content you create: progress photos, form-check videos, messages, and notes. Coaches' methodology documents uploaded to the Coaching Brain. Technical and usage data: a device identifier, app version, and in-app activity used to keep the service running and improve it.

Apple Health (HealthKit)

With your explicit permission, the app reads selected data from Apple Health — such as sleep, heart rate, heart-rate variability, steps and active energy — solely to display it back to you in your check-ins and progress and, where you have a coach, to share it with that coach. We never use Health data for advertising or marketing, never sell it, and never share it with third parties for their own purposes. You can revoke access at any time in the iOS Health app or Settings.

How we use your data

To provide the app's features (programming, nutrition, check-ins, progress, messaging and the Find-a-Coach directory), to power SOVARA's coaching assistance, to maintain security, and to understand product usage with privacy-respecting analytics. We do not track you across other companies' apps or websites, and we do not use third-party advertising.

Sharing and service providers

We share data only with providers that help us run Repstra, under contract and only as needed: Supabase (secure hosting and database), Stripe (payment processing for web-based coaching purchases), Apple and Google (sign-in), and nutrition databases (USDA, Open Food Facts) for food search. If you work with a coach, the training and wellbeing data relevant to your coaching is shared with that coach. We may disclose data if required by law.

Your methodology, sealed

Documents a coach uploads to their Coaching Brain are used to power that coach's own AI assistance and public profile only. They are not shared with other coaches and are not used to train any third-party or foundation AI model.

Data retention and deletion

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. You can permanently delete your account at any time from the app (the "Me" tab → Delete account) or by emailing support@repstra.com.au. Deletion permanently removes your account and associated data — workouts, nutrition, check-ins, photos, messages and Coaching Brain documents — within 30 days, except where we must retain limited records to meet legal obligations.

Security and your rights

Data is encrypted in transit and stored with reputable infrastructure providers. You can access, export, correct or delete your data, and withdraw permissions (such as Apple Health) at any time. To exercise any right, contact support@repstra.com.au.

Children

Repstra is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will remove it.
